I do agree with him about the interior fit and finish, as I think it could be much better. For what you're spending on the Nautilus you would think there would be a closer attention to detail. There is no way we should be seeing gaps between leather and wood paneling. The infotainment system looks like it was pulled right out of a lower end Ford.

As there is a lot of parts sharing between the MKX and the first gen Nautilus, I feel like there were a bit limited with the equipment options. I would expect things to radically improve in the next MY, as it begins to build upon the platform.

Actually, I think we'll see only modest changes until the MY2022 or MY2023 redesign. Remember, the Nautilus is, in the end, a mid-cycle refresh (though one with significant changes to the front end and drive train) not a redesign. That's when the radical changes will come.

A redesign is probably going to come with a price hike as well, so its best they hold off on that for a few years. This will give them time to build up their consumer base and get feedback from owners of what changes need to be made.

Typical Year-to-Year increases are what you should expect, Lincoln nor any car maker should bump price beyond those common tiers.
Ultimately, they are subject to the segments limitations.
