Sync Update / Connectivity

I love my new Nautilus! But, every morning (all 3 of them) I keep getting a message upon startup that the system needs to connect to a WiFi network to download updates. Iíve successfully connected the car to my home WiFi and even forced the car to check for updates. It never finds any, it never complains about anything, it says itís successfully connected... Yet every time I start the car, I get the message. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure how functional WiFi updates are. I just turned off that feature.

Aside from a much nicer background color, itís the same SYNC that worked great in my 2016 F150. The F150 was able to do significant updates (like the one that enabled CarPlay). Iíd actually like to disable it in the Nautilus, but even after telling it ďnoĒ itís still stuck in its little private Groundhog Day.

This is a known issue that is corrected in the latest release of sync 3. Temporary 'fix' is to shut off automatic update. I applied the sync update via a thumb drive but the dealer should be able to do this also. My sync 3 is now at version 3.3 build 19052_PRODUCT

John,
Thank you for the response, I just checked and I am at version 3.3 and I also turned off the auto update also. How did you get the thumb drive?
Thanks again for your help.
Brian

There is a procedure online to download the update file to your PC. You then copy the file to your own usb, take that to the car and plug it in the center stack port under the flip lid. Sync automatically recognizes it is there and does the update. Took about 10 minutes to load. I think this is the link I went to for the procedure, but since my sync is updated, and Lincoln knows this, I get a different screen than before. https://owner.lincoln.com/tools/acco...p-to-date.html
